Requirements
There are a number of administrative details that need to be taken care of before you can be eligible to adopt. Our requirements are as follows:
- You must be at least twenty-five years of age and married for at least two years to apply
- If you have previously been married, your current marriage must be of at least three years duration
- Must have an approved home study

The Process
In order to begin the adoption process, you will need to fill out and application and send us your application fee. This will allow us to begin the adoption process, and to serve your needs as a parent. We’ll send you a letter informing you if your application gets approved. Next, you will need to have a home study conducted, then forward the relevant documents to us for review. Once we’ve reviewed your home study, Adoption Advocates will notify you as to whether you’ve been approved or denied for placement of a child.
